About Hannah!

Hannah Sessler is a sophomore at The George Washington University, double majoring in Theatre and Journalism and Mass Communication, originally from Edison, New Jersey.
Hannah has been performing since she started dancing at the age of two. In 2012, she was nationally ranked as the #1 Teen Tap Dancer in the United States through DanceXplosion nationals dance competition.
Hannah has continued her theater training in college at The George Washington University. She received the Presidential Scholar of the Arts, with a concentration in Acting. This is a four year, merit based selective scholarship awarded to only four students per year who demonstrate stellar academic and artistic potential in the performing arts.
Additionally, she was a member of the Women’s Leadership Program, a highly selective leadership program saluting women and promoting excellence in community service. Members are chosen from the top ten percent of the incoming freshman class. Most recently, Hannah received one of the Gridiron Foundation scholarships from the School of Media and Public Affairs.
On campus, Hannah is a tour guide through the GW Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Artistic Director of Forbidden Planet Productions, a student theatre company and Anchor/Executive Producer of District Debrief, GWTV's satirical talk show.
